Hi y’all our names are Albert Jimenez and Gabriella Knox and we are honored to serve as the Program Managers for Alternative Service Breaks 2017-2018. Check us out here to find out more about us!
The Alternative Service Breaks Program has been an established part of the Boston University experience since 1988 and we feel honored to build on the legacy of past ASB trips and continue to grow and improve the program through some of our own changes this year.
The mission of the 2017-2018 ASB experience is as follows: Alternative Service Breaks seeks to empower the individual through intentional service, personal growth, leadership, and genuine human connection. ASB prioritizes allyship with community partners in order to more deeply understand the social issues of our world and inspire a more empathetic and socially active individual
We are both geeks when it comes to all things ASB and would be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. But beware, we might talk your ears off…
