THE PROGRAM MANAGERS FOR 2017-2018 ARE ALBERT JIMENEZ AND GABRIELLA KNOX.
Albert Jimenez is psyched to serve as one of the Program Managers for Alternative Service Breaks 2018. He is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in International Relations with a minor in Economics pursuing a career in education (plot twist). ASB encompasses three of his main loves in life–travel, service, and personal growth. Outside of ASB, Albert has also been known to enjoy dogspotting, complaining about raisins, and rewatching The Office. He dislikes talking in the third person, humidity, and the remake of Full House.
Gabriella Knox is humbled to serve as program manager for Alternative Service Breaks this year. She is a senior in Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences studying Health Science and Public Health and is looking to pursue a career in Public Health Advocacy and Policy. ASB has framed Gabriella’s BU experience, as she coordinated the Philadelphia trip in 2016, and served as a volunteer on the Chicago trip in 2015, and the Phoenix trip in 2017. In her free time, Gabriella can be found buried in a great book, trying new restaurants around Boston (especially Thai food), traveling as much as she can, and spending quality time with friends and family.
If you have any questions about ASB, please email them at email@example.com or visit them in the Community Service Center on the fourth floor of the George Sherman Union (775 Commonwealth Avenue)!
